Los Angeles City Council Opposes Newhall Ranch

In a unanimous vote on February 19, the Los Angeles City Council took a stand against Newhall Ranch, claiming the 21,000-home project west of Santa Clarita will hurt the City of Los Angeles. Traffic along I-5 seemed to be at the top of council members' concerns. Council members want their opposition to be considered the next time the project comes before the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, likely in July or August.mno
