Santa Clara River Stream Team Volunteers Sought

Friends of the Santa Clara River will soon be kicking off a volunteer water quality monitoring effort on the River. This will be a three-year program focusing on nutrient loading, with sampling to be carried out at 6-10 sites along the river from Soledad Canyon to the estuary. Teams consisting of 3-4 volunteers will be assigned to cover two or three sites per session on a one-weekend-per-month sampling schedule. All volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer monitor training course.
